Spring Beauty Roundup

Spring Beauty Roundup

Hello, hello!! Here is a roundup of the latest additions to my beauty regimen and why I love them.  So here we go:

Jergens Natural GLOW- I am really bad at applying self-tanner.  I seem to always end up with major streaks, but with this daily moisturizer (that allows you to build a natural- looking tan) I don't seem to have a problem.  This product also does not have that overwhelming self-tanner-smell which is a major plus.  I use “Medium to Tan”.

Decleor Aromessence Ylang Ylang Purifying Serum- I normally use Source Naturals Skin Eternal DMAE AM and PM, but now that it’s warming up outside, I am switching things up:  I have found the Source Natural is just a little too heavy under my makeup. My skin just seems to drink up the Decleor, beautifully, making it easy to apply sunscreen next, followed by makeup.  Decleaor makes serums for all skin types but Ylang Ylang is perfect if you are concerned about shine and breakout on hot days because this serum helps clean, purify, and reduce oil.

NARS Pro-prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base- I love this product because it does what it says it does. It simply works!!

Smashbox- High Definition Concealer Anticernes in Fair- I have a lot of trouble with concealer. I have more mature skin, and that comes with fine lines around the eyes.  I have found that most concealers want to gather up into each line and settle in for the day…not cute. This one, with enough blending (I just use my finger and pat the product into place), stays put.

R+Co Outer Space Flexible Hairspray- What I LOVE about this hairspray is the fragrance. It smells soon good and it sprays a super fine mist which is key when needing flexibility. I use it when I add soft curls to my hair but still want my hair to look touchable.

NARS Lipstick in Dolce VIta- Typically I am a gloss girl but this lipstick is lovely when I want a natural look.  It is just a  shade darker then my natural lip color. I wear it when I don't want to look “made up,” yet still want to look polished.
