Skin Care for Summer

I am forty eight. I take my skin care routine very seriously and as former esthetician I find skin care fascinating. I love trying new products for myself and sharing my experience with friends.

Cleansing- So I switch back and forth between Naturium Niacinamide Face Cleanser and Bioglycolic Face Cleanser. Both are wonderful and I use them as my AM cleanser. I find the neither are great for removing make up so perfect in the morning.
Now in the PM I adore ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm. It is exactly what one needs in the evening. It is a dream on the skin and removes every trace of the day and the fragrance instantly takes you to a spa experience. So relaxing. I have bought this cleansing balm over and over. It's a keeper.

P50-1970 by Biologique Recherche. I will be using this product the rest of my life. This exfoliating toner is a game changer. You will see a difference in your skin on day one. It is expensive but worth every penny.

Essences- This is new to me and I like it. It can be used for many things but I use it for hydration. Well People Dewy Juice Hydrating Aloe Essence is lovely and delivers.

Serums- During the day Victim C is a must. Brighten the skin and helps with environmental attackers making a must in the am. I have been using Jan Marini for years and still love.
In the evenings I use Estee Lauder's Advanced Night Repair. The past couple years I have been obsessed with this top selling serum. When I don't use it I can tell. It basically fights all the signs of aging.

Retinol- I am a believer in retinol. It helps in a huge way with cell turn over which drastically slows down as we age.

And now we must moisturizer. I use ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Marine Cream day and night. During the summer months this light weight cream is doing the job but once we enter the winter months I will switch or add a heavier night cream.

SPF- Supergoop! Glowscreen. This has been such a time saver. There are so many days that I do not have time for make up. This gives you a little glow and then  mascara and you are ready for the day.
