Hello everyone! I am so excited to share my VERY short trip to London. I have been to London a few times before so it was nice to not have the pressure of sightseeing. While Shaun worked I took a nice walk into Hyde Park, did a bit of shopping and finished a book I bought while in Paris "French Children Don't Throw Food" by Pamela Druckerman. I have always wondered while sitting in a bistro in Paris , "how is this French child sitting happily through a meal without an iPad?"...read this book to find out. Thankfully Mr. Bagai was free in the evenings so we dined. I would recommend Gordon Ramsay's modern French restaurant 'Petrus'. The service was top notch and everything was delectable..the cheese selection will not disappoint. If you are looking for Fish and Chips check out 'Grazing Goat' in the Portman Village. They describe their offerings as "Classic British cuisine using fresh ingredients with seasonal menus based on traditional and modern recipes." Shaun and I enjoyed lunch at the Grazing Goat both days. I very much enjoyed the food at 'Aqua Kyoto' but the service was much to be desired. One of the nights we were invited to Annabel's , the world famous private night club, by Shaun's socialite cousin. If you know a member, it's a bit of a "show" but definitely worth checking out. Hope you enjoy and thank you for stopping by!
